Gone Crazy ... Be Back Soon!
I just love that quote!! I borrowed it from my dear girlfriend Kimi (hope you don't mind Kimi). Anyway, that just about sums up my state of mind lately. Too much to do and not enough time to do it. I'm talking necessities here not just over-ambitious dreams for my perfect Christmas. I still have no idea if I'm through shopping or if I have forgotten to buy something because I haven't had time to go through everything and check. I was so exhausted last night from lack of sleep that I crashed at 1:00 a.m. Stockings aren't finished; all presents aren't wrapped; baking isn't completed; lists haven't been made much less checked yet! So, what am I doing? Well, besides running every chance I get to my beloved JS playground to check on the status of our group present to our wonderful teacher, Jessica, I'm sitting here updating my blog. Makes sense, right? OK, so it's just a quickie. I have been wanting to add a subscription link to my blog and I think I figured it out. So try it out and lets see if I did it right or if I'm still asleep and my fingers are doing their best without a brain attached!!!

Yeah ... that didn't last long!
OK ... so somebody stole days off of my calendar!!! All the days between Dec. 5th and Dec. 17th were stolen!!!! I need them back so if anyone sees a date thief please apprehend him!
What can I say ... it was a great dream to 'Journal My Christmas' and I hope to actually finish it ... someday ... probably sitting by the pool on a blistering hot summer day scrapbooking on my laptop about chilly Christmas days. Haha!
Each year I always have great aspirations of grandeur for the "Perfect Christmas." Telling myself ... "this year it will happen!" Then once again when the date thief strikes I find myself doing only the absolute necessities. But next year, I will try again and who knows, maybe one day my "Perfect Christmas" and my "Actual Christmas" may be close!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday and a Very Merry Christmas!!!!

Journal Your Christmas Day 5
Well, I managed to get Day 5 LO finished. I'm about to fall asleep so Day 4 LO will have to wait again. I'm gonna have to do more work to find my photos for that one so it is gonna take a bit longer.
Here is today's LO. Let me know what you think.

Sorry!
Well, it lasted three days. I've been trying to finish my Day 4 of Journal Your Christmas LO but I've stayed up too late for too many nights. I just can't keep my eyes open. I have the journaling written but I need to find the photos I want to use and probably have to scan some older photos in. I'll do two LO's tomorrow. This is suppose to be fun and not stressful and right now I'm so exhausted that if I force myself to stay up and finish it then I will be stressed. So I'm giving myself permission to "not" finish tonight but to get some sleep instead. I'll finish it up tomorrow instead. And that is OK!

Uh Oh! Three Days in a Row!
First thing ... I want to apologize to anyone who was offended today by a widget that I added to my sidebar. I found a widget of computer jokes that cycled through some rather funny jokes and I added it to my blog today. Since I work with computers and have more than my share of their quirky attitudes, I found them very funny. I watched for quite a while until they started repeating and figured that it was OK. Apparently I found out tonight that there were several very bad jokes with quite offensive language in it. I sincerely apologize for anyone that saw those jokes and thought that I found them appropriate. I assure you that I do not approve of such language or crude humor. I have since removed the element from my blog. Please forgive me for exposing you to that.
Now, for much better news!!! It's Day3 of Journal Your Christmas. Since the family was here for FHE and we decorated our Christmas tree it was quite late before I even got started. So once again, it is the middle of the night. BUT I DID IT!!!!! The prompt for today was Christmas Cards. I had just received our first Christmas Card yesterday so this was great!! Here is the LO I did for today. Hope you enjoy and if you do, please leave me some love in the comments! Thanks!!!

Wow! Day 2 of "Journal Your Christmas"
I don't want to put anyone into shock but I really am posting two days in a row. So I've made it two days on my "Journal Your Christmas" goal. But I've seriously got to figure out how to do my daily pages without having to stay up half the night to get it done.
Of course, today was sunday. Then after church, all the girls came over and we had a wedding planning meeting for Brian & Chrisinda's wedding. We just have too much fun when we all get together. We started at 3:00 and it was almost 9:00 before we quit. I love it that we enjoy each others company so much. We did get a lot accomplished toward the wedding too.
So anyway, it was after 10:00 before I got to sit down and work on my page. I had read the prompt this morning so I could be thinking about it all day. It didn't take me very long to write my journaling. But it took me forever to do the actual page ... even though I used a quick page by KimB Designs. I'm just slow and I still need to get all of my kits organized in ACDSee (a fab organizing program!) so that I can find what I'm looking for. haha.
OK, so today's topic was the weather. I decided to write about how I really feel about a White Christmas. Hope you enjoy it.
So enough yakking. It's almost 2:30 a.m. and I have to go to work tomorrow. Here is my page for today (uhmmm ... actually yesterday, Sunday, December 2nd). Let me know what you think about it by leaving me a comment. Please!

Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with Day 3. Since it is Monday and we are decorating our Christmas tree for FHE, it will most likely be another late night.

Can you believe it? Another post ... Finally!!!!!
OK ... so I haven't done a very good job of keeping up with my blog. I know!!!!! So here I am now and I'm gonna try to do a better job of posting.
A lot has gone on in my life since my last post in May. Some good and some not so good. The good ... a new grandson, Garrett, born August 30, 2007. The bad ... I prefer not to dwell on it.
So on to better and brighter things. I just finished my second digital scrapbooking class with Jessica Sprague. I am so addicted to digi scrapping, to Jessica and to the new friends I have made on our beloved JS playground!!! Hey Kari sweetie (see I'm posting, I'm posting!!!). I've made some gorgeous (in my humble opinion) LO's over the course of the two classes. I've tried to focus on doing LO's about Mark's mission but I keep getting pulled away by grandkids and holidays. I have a sinking feeling that Mark's Mission scrapbook won't be finished by the time he comes home in Feburary. Maybe I'll post a few of my pages for interested eyes to see. Leave me a comment and let me know if you are interested in seeing them. Don't want to bore anyone.
Today I began a new class. I hope it is not more than I can handle. I want it to be something I will enjoy ... not a burden to make me feel guilty if I can't keep up. It is called "Journal Your Christmas". I made a declaration that I would write and create a page everyday about something Christmas ... We are given prompts to jog our creative minds. My main purpose in signing up for this class was to document some of my Christmas' past, my feelings about Christmas present and my hopes and dreams for Christmas' to come. Today was our declaration page. Here it is. Tell me what you think? Am I crazy or what?

Nana's Attic (http://nanas-attic.blogspot.com) for the Merry Christmas ribbon & Bow element. #1 by RoseMadeDesigns. Green bow by Burkhart Scrapzone Designs by Michaele Burkhart @ www.deco-pages.com. Red Ornament by Boo Silva (BooLandDesigns) OneNightInBethlehem kit. I'm new to this stuff so I hope I didn't forget anyone or anything.
OK. So leave me some love in the comments if you want me to keep this going. I thrive on comments!!!

Who am I?
I found this quiz on a scrapbook site today (www.debfdigiscraps.com). Thought it was very interesting! I love Jane Austen's books and she has some of the most interesting characters. So I was anxious to see which character I was most like. If you are a Jane Austen fan then try the quiz and let me know 'Who you are?'
![]() | You scored as Marianne Dashwood. Most girls can relate with Marianne on a more personal level than some of Austen's other characters. She represents the emotional longings and struggles that seem to attack and bless us at the same time. Loyal to a fault, passionate for experience and life, and a bit over-emotional, Marianne matures and grows (making her so beloved).

My Celebrity Look-alikes
OK ... So I'm not too good at the posting often thing. But this was such an interesting find that I had to share it. While looking at Digital Scrapbooking sites, I linked into a site called MyHeritage.com. There I was able to upload a full face picture of myself and it calculates the structure and features of me and then matches it up with celebrities that have similar facial traits. So here is my Celebrity look-alikes. I thought it was interesting.

So, yeah ... I don't really see me too much in their faces. What do you think? Leave me a comment!

Welcome to My Blog
OK, so I figured that I needed to join the blog world too.
I think my purpose with this blog will be to document some of the events throughout my life. I guess we will have to see how successful I am at this. So far, my scrapbooking has not yielded very much.
Hope you enjoy!
